My paintings are on display in Brooklyn

Latitudes: a show of the chemistry between paintings and bronze sculptures

If you are in the New York City area, I hope that you will visit my show of watercolors that is taking place at 440 Gallery in Park Slope, Brooklyn. A two-person show by painter Joy Makon and sculptor Richard Barnet, Latitudes recalls the figurative and literal need to travel and is explored through images from personal travel destinations as well as a love of the coastline and water. Everyone is most welcome, and I will be at the gallery often throughout the show’s run. An artist reception will take place on Saturday, September 9 from 5 to 8pm.

  1. A lovely show, with the surprisingly complementary sculptures of Richard Barnet and watercolors by Joy Makon. Worth the visit!
