Ninth Street Sunset

At Prospect Park on Friday and the sunset was to good to pass up.

I came home with a ton of photographs from my vacation in France, yet it was the Park Slope sunset that stopped me in my tracks. I miss working plein air, and this was not an exact substitute. I spent a few hours drawing the image, and spent today painting it. A lot faster and smaller than I usually work. Good to reconnect with my paints after such a nice time painting abroad.
