Field and Hill

One more beautiful summer vista from Storm King Art Center

Words don’t do justice to describe the sculptured landscape that is Storm King, but a palette of blues and yellows with touches of gold and warm brown surely does. I’ll let this painting do the talking here.

This is pretty. I really like the grass effect.

This is absolutely gorgeous. You can really feel the movement in the clouds and meadow. You should check out Woodstock, NY. There are plenty of quiet hideaways to paint. Both of my grandmothers are painters so I know just how important it is to find that perfect spot. I just did a brief write up of my short escape and would love for you to take a look.
