It was still winter

The snow finally disappeared (only to come back a few days later) and left the park waiting for something. Spring? Green? Color? Thankful for a most beautiful sky, I used this scene to paint some badly-needed wet and loose brush strokes.

I’ve seen some crocus and witch hazel in bloom, and I know the spring colors are not far behind—it’s most encouraging.

Beautiful work! Reminds me of a park near home. Especially like the technique used to do the ground!

  4. Another gorgeous Prospect Park painting. My husband was looking over my shoulder just now saying “that’s really nice”. I love the sky in this painting.
