A Favorite Path

Late August, Prospect Park

This is one of the quieter places in the park with lots of nooks and crannys to explore. Sometimes it all comes together in one composition: the shadows, the perfect sky, the unsuspecting mini-people, a glimpse of the Picnic House—and there’s the painting.

  1. Lovely, leafy green, great sky.

  2. Nice soft shadows on the path!

  3. The park looks beautiful.

  4. Very peaceful. I like the leaves drooping down at the top of the page and the beautiful shadow work you did because of them.

  5. Brilliant, I love your paintings.
