A mediterranean diet

Dioxazine Purple and Cobalt Violet: new colors to the palette. I couldn’t achieve the dark eggplant tone without a sandwich of ultramarine, hookers green, and then dioxazine purple layered on top. This gave me the rich, dark tone that I was looking for. Every painting is a learning experience, and tonight’s class at SVA was no exception. Now I’m craving ratatouille too!
