Sunny Friday Vacation Day River View in Lambertville

Plein Air by the Delaware River

Rough-textured Arches paper was a perfect surface to explore a dry brush technique to create river reflections. I worked the tree and branches as an overlay on the land and sky, and once again, that thin segment of land between the water and the landscape fascinated me as a compositional element on the page.
